Jill Hillhouse
A seasoned Nutritional Practitioner with over two decades of experience, Jill has worked with a number of integrative clinics in Toronto and maintains an extensive private practice. Using Nutrigenomics, the study of how our genes interact with our diet, Jill helps people optimize health and resilience based on their own genetic blueprint and uses food and lifestyle choices to support the best expression of one’s genes.
Jill is a published author of two books: The Paleo Diabetes Diet Solution: Manage Your blood Sugar with 125 Recipes and a 30-day Meal Plan, and The Best Baby Food: 125 Healthy and Delicious Recipes for Babies & Toddlers.
She holds the certification as a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Queen’s University.
Jill is registered with The Canadian Association of Natural Nutrition Professionals (CANNP) and is a member of The Institute of Functional Medicine.
In her spare time, Jill enjoys being active outdoors – hiking and walking as much as possible. Togetherness with family and friends is important to her and gives her an opportunity to think up new menus!
