IV Drip For Healthy Skin

One of the best ways to have glowing skin, luxurious hair and strong nails is by receiving an IV drip as part of a health routine. While this drip focuses on keeping your largest organ (skin) as health as possible, it also has amazing benefits for your hair and nails too. Yes this IV Drip has plenty of Glutathione.

The key benefits of an IV Drip for Healthy Skin are:

  • Improves skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles
  • Provides Antioxidants needed to quench free radicals, reducing wear and tear on cells and slowing the aging process
  • Gives you the nutrients for optimizing skin health, both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant
  • Enhances detoxification
  • Gives your skin an abundance of Hydration
Unless specified, every IV Drip at Higher Health starts with the following base ingredients before we add on for your specific goal:
  • Vitamin C
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Trace Minerals (Chromium, Copper, Manganese, Selenium, Zinc)
  • B Vitamins (B1,B2, B3, B5, B6, B12)
  • Amino Acids (which promote cellular repair and optimal function)

To help with healthy skin, an IV drip will also include the following:

Vitamin C – Skin contains high concentrations of vitamin C, which stimulates collagen synthesis and acts as an antioxidant. Research suggests that oxidative damage plays an important role in aging, including the aging of our skin. Vitamin C reverses free radical induced oxidative damage.

Applying vitamin C topically to the skin can help improve elasticity, making the skin look brighter and more youthful. Serums containing vitamin C can help stimulate collagen production. Studies have found that moisturizers containing vitamin C improved skin smoothness and moisture following application. Deficiencies in vitamin C lead to poor wound healing and increased subcutaneous bleeding due to fragile connective tissue.

B vitamins – B vitamins have shown some benefit with skin aging, specifically with age spots and hyperpigmentation. Deficiencies in B vitamins can cause dry skin, acne, wrinkles, rashes, and fungal skin infections. Research has found that vitamin B5 can help with both acne and skin aging. Studies using B5 have demonstrated significant reductions in acne and skin inflammation.

Glutathione – Glutathione helps protect the skin from damage that can cause wrinkles and has shown to improve skin elasticity. It is an important component in the regeneration of healthy skin. Glutathione can regulate skin pigmentation and reduce the skin symptoms associated with certain conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis.

NAC – N-acetyl-cysteine has been studied for its use in dermatology as it increases levels of glutathione and can assist in skin proliferation. It inhibits the production of inflammatory factors and is an important nutrient when considering skin health.

Biotin – Biotin is known for its role in supporting healthy growth of hair, skin and nails. It helps to produce fatty acids that nourish the skin and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Biotin maintains the mucous membranes of the skin which helps create that skin glow. It stimulates keratin production in hair and can increase the rate of hair follicle growth.

Zinc – Zinc plays an important role in skin healing after injury. It has antiinflammatory properties, making it a useful nutrient for inflammatory conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea and ulcers. Zinc can help protect the skin from UV damage by blocking the light waves.

Selenium – Selenium is a cofactor required to create and recycle antioxidants such as glutathione, vitamin C and vitamin E. Increasing these antioxidants helps to protect the skin from UV rays, pigmentation, and inflammation. A deficiency in selenium has been linked with a greater chance of skin cancer.
